In light of the State of Emergency, all of HOCC’s April Programming is cancelled.
Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker declares State of Emergency due to Coronavirus. Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh agrees and suggests that the only way to prevent the spread of Coronavirus in Massachusetts is to take “aggressive action,” no matter how disruptive the measures may be. Mayor Walsh adds that “there will also be a focus on cleaning public spaces and protecting seniors, children, and those who are at the highest risk to contract the virus.” HOCC respectfully agrees with these recommendations, and is cancelling HOCC’s Mini-Clinic on “Preventive Health Screenings” with Kirsten Dickins that was set for Wednesday, March 25th .
