We want you to know… December 1 marks the 35th commemoration of World AIDS Day (WAD), an annual event that reminds us that HIV and HIV-related stigma remain public health threats. WHO’s message for WAD 2023 is “Let Communities Lead!” To deepen this theme the UN Under-Secretary-General and UN Women Executive Director Sima Bahous – proposed that “communities must lead on ending AIDS and women’s voices must lead the communities” .
